Yoruba Nation agitators and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Wednesday resumed their protest at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The secessionist groups were seen displaying placards of different inscriptions according to The PUNCH.
They demanded the resignation of Nigeria’s President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) while chanting anti-oppression songs.
They were also seen chanting “We want Yoruba Nation Now, declare Independent Biafra… Now!”
The protesters – decked in black and white outfits – were seen with the Yoruba Nation and IPOB flags.
President Buhari will be addressing the 76th session of the UN general assembly.
