While engaging with fans on Twitter, Uche Jombo broached the subject of surrogacy as a viable option to having kids in Nigeria.
The actress threw open the discourse wondering when folks will quit being ashamed or afraid to publicly acknowledge using one.
When can we start discussing
surrogacy as an option in Nigeria.
Without people feeling ashamed or afraid to say I used one?

Nse Ikpe-Etim who has shared her battle with infertility joined in on the conversation.
She stated that this can only happen when people realise that living their truths is not a sign of weakness and folks can make choices that suit them.
Co -Wife, maybe when people realise that living their truth is not a weakness and sometimes choices are made just because. That is also valid. Miss ya! https://t.co/89O7LmfEoW

Ikpe-Etim blamed religious and cultural beliefs for miseducation on this subject adding that the Nigerian society has a lot to unlearn in that regard.
Absolutely nothing wrong. IMO, I think religious and cultural beliefs have encouraged a miseducation on the idea. We have to unlearn a lot of things as a people. https://t.co/2wszLSGdvL
