Travis Scott is reportedly set to issue a refund to all of the about 50,000 attendees of his November 5 Astroworld Festival following the tragedy that occurred, according to Variety.
The festival which was initially scheduled as a three-day event was canceled after opening day ended with the loss of eight lives and hundreds treated for injuries.
Asides from authorising the refunds, Travis has reportedly pulled out of his headline performance at the upcoming Day N Vegas Festival. He was set to appear on November 13, which marks the second day of the music event.
Sources at Variety say that the rapper feels “too distraught to play” at the Vegas concert.
Victims of the November 5 Astroworld Festival were convert goers who came out to see Travis Scott and other performers play. There were eight deaths recorded in what authorities are calling a “mass casualty” and the ages of the victims reportedly range from 14-27.
