Tory Lanez Bail Increased to $250,000 for Violating Megan Thee Stallion’s Restraining Order

Tory Lanez will pay the government a lot more money for violating the restraining order that required him to not come within a certain proximity to Megan Thee Stallion.

Recall that the rapper was arrested last summer for allegedly shooting Megan, and he later was issued a protective order; he was required to refrain from contacting or coming within 100 yards of Megan. Now, a judge has ruled that he violated the protective order during his appearance at DaBaby’s Rolling Loud Miami set, just after Megan left the festival stage. And TMZ reports that his bail has been increased to $250,000 from $190,000.

“You’re facing years in prison, over 22 years in prison,” Judge Keith Borjon told Lanez in court today. “They could have filed an additional charge based on violating the protective order because that’s a violation of law as well. You do not want to be doing things like this sir. You have the means and the where with all and a lot of smart people around you to advise you as to how you should be conducting your life so we don’t have to have hearings like this.”

We can’t wait to see how this legal case eventually pans out.
