Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho, has paid a courtesy visit to Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.
Mr Bello, on Thursday, shared photos of the 2021 FA Cup winner’s visit to the Lugard House in the capital, Lokoja, on Instagram.
A delighted Bello joked that Iheanacho, nicknamed ‘senior man’ by compatriot and Leicester City teammate Wilfred Ndidi, has cut him a magical soap for success.
“Finally, Senior Man Kells Kelechi Iheanacho don cut soap for me! It is always a pleasure to meet a teaming, Patriotic, Vibrant #nigerian #Youth,” Bello wrote.
“Congratulations ones again on your #facup win. The future of our great Nation is the Younger Generations. The time is now. God bless #nigeria.”
Iheanacho, who was in sensational form last season, helped Leicester into the finals of the 2021 FA Cup in May where they beat Chelsea 1-0.
