Prince William has spoken up for the first time since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey: he says the royal family is “not racist.”
The brother of Prince Harry was approached today by a reporter during a visit to a school in east London and asked if the royals were a “racist family,” to which he said, “We’re very much not a racist family.”
This question was birthed by the concerns raised by Harry and Meghan, who made a series of damning accusations against the royal family in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, including the concerns raised by a British royal about how dark their son Archie would be.
And asked if he had spoken to his brother since the interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince William said, “I haven’t spoken to him yet but I will do.”
