The Governor of Borno State, Prof Babagana Zulum, has so far endeared himself to Nigerians with his simple and humane leadership style.
And the former university teacher hasn’t harmed his growing reputation after he recently stopped his convoy to assist some women who were fetching firewood by the roadside.
In some photos shared on social media, Gov. Zulum is seen with his security aides trying to help the women with their task.
And his latest act of empathy has got Nigerians gushing, with many from across the country vowing to vote for him if he ever sought office beyond Borno State.
