Nigeria Breweries PLC is putting down the sum of NI million (One Million Naira Only) for the Man-of-the-Match in Tuesday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between the Super Eagles and the Crocodiles of Lesotho.
The offer is being made through the 33 Export brand of the company and will see the best player of the day smile to the bank with seven figures.
Similarly, GAC Motors, another partner of the Nigeria Football Federation, will come to the stadium with a cheque of N1 million (One Million Naira Only) for the Most Valuable Player of the day.
This brings a total of two million naira for the most outstanding Nigerian player in today’s clash.
Three time African champions Nigeria already punched a ticket for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged by Cameroon early next year after beating Benin Republic 1-0 in Porto Novo on Saturday.
But the naira rain may yet spur the lads onto greater performance as they bid to finish the qualifiers on a high at the upgraded Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Gernot Rohr’s men won the first leg against the crocodiles 4-2 in Maseru.
