Runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City have announced the signing of a Brazilian wonderkid, Kayky, from Fluminense.
The prodigious 17-year-old forward would join the Premier League giants at the end of the season, the club announced on Friday.
ESPN reports that the youngster’s deal is worth around €10m plus add-ons and according to Fluminense, City have purchased 80% of the player’s rights, with the Brazilian side maintaining 20%.
“We are delighted to confirm we have reached an agreement with Fluminense regarding the future transfer of Kayky.
“The teenage forward will remain with Fluminese until the end of the Brazilian season,” City announced on Friday.
As is the case with most Brazil youngsters, we can’t wait to see Kayky roll on the pitch.
