The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday arrived in neighbouring Benin Republic for the crucial 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification clash against the Squirrels of Benin.
The Eagles, led by head coach Gernot Rohr, hit the West African country in the afternoon of Friday, March 26, after travelling from Lagos by boat.
The Group L clash between both nations is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, at Porto Novo, the capital.
Three-time African champions Nigeria lead the group by one point, having won two and drawn the same number of games so far.
All sides – including Lesotho and Sierra Leone – could still qualify for the tournament holding in Cameroon next year.
