The death toll in the tragic Ikoyi building collapse has risen to 36 after the last count.
According to the Acting Coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, thirty- three of the deceased are men with three women.
The number of survivors remains nine at the time of filing this report, with two of them discharged from the hospital late Wednesday.
During a visit to the scene yesterday, Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had said those responsible for the engineering tragedy in Nigeria’s commercial capital would face the full weight of the law.
