New report reveals that the infamous Janet Jackson nip slip during the 2004 super Bowl was no wardrobe malfunction.
The stylist who was responsible for preparing JanetJackson’s outfit for the event has opened up about what really happened during her half time performance with Justin Timberlake.
Page Six reports that Wayne Scot Lukas alleged that Justin wanted to outdo the MTV VMAs performance by Britney Spears, Madonna and Christina Aguilera. The trio had shocked fans when they kissed months earlier at the awards ceremony.
Scot Lukas claimed that Justin “insisted on doing something bigger than their performance. He wanted a reveal.”
Wayne advised that Janet was initially supposed to wear a pearl G-string which was inspired by Kim Cattrall’s look worn in an episode of “Sex and the City.” He also didn’t consider the incident on stage a wardrobe malfunction.
Wayne said, “I wouldn’t call it a wardrobe ‘malfunction’ in a million years. It was the most functioning wardrobe in history. As a stylist, it did what it was intended to do
