Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, is set to hit Lagos in continuation of the Yoruba Nation rally across the South-West.
This was disclosed Friday by one of Igboho’s ardent followers, Ololade Alaba Shomuyiwa, popularly known as Baba Confirm, Prophet of El Adonai Cherubim and Seraphim International Bible Ministries.
He said Igboho and other supporters would be in Lagos, July 3 at the Ojota Park in continuation of the agitation for Yoruba Nation urging greater support for the movement.
“Igboho is expected to be in Lagos on July 3, 2021, at the Ojota Park in continuation of the rally for the creation of the Yoruba nation,” Shomuyiwa said, as per TheNation.
The Yoruba nation protesters have held rallies across South-West states, including Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, and Ondo States in recent months.
Citing injustice, marginalization and brutal attacks from herdsmen, Igboho and his followers have insisted that the Yorubas must secede from Nigeria.
They warn that there would be no election in the region come 2023.
