Forbes Refutes Claim that Kanye West is the Riches Black American

Forbes has refuted claims by multiple news outlets that Kanye West is the richest black American with an estimated net worth of $6.6 Billion.

The financial magazine released an article on its website stating that Bloomberg’s financial projections of the sneaker brand, Yeezy and Yeezy Gap reported to be an estimated $4.7 billion is inaccurate since Yeezy Gap is yet to make any sale.

Forbes estimates Kanye West to be worth around $1.8 billion;  a big jump from last May when Forbes first pegged his net worth to be $1.3 billion.

Robert F. Smith of Vista Equity remains the richest Black American with an estimated $6 billion while our very own Aliko Dankote retains the title of the richest Black person in the world with a net worth of $11.8 billion.
