Elliot Page is the First Openly Transgender Man on the Cover of TIME

Elliot Page has become the first openly transgender man to grace the cover of TIME magazine.

The actor who underwent top of the line surgery and had his breast tissues removed, revealed that the period of the lockdown allowed him to look into his gender and who he wanted to be.

Elliot Page during the first interview since revealing he is transgender,  said that understanding himself in the specifics remains a work in progress and feels a deep sense of responsibility to share his truth, now that he is here.

I’m fully who I am,” says actor.

“Extremely influential people are spreading these myths and damaging rhetoric—every day you’re seeing our existence debated.

“Transgender people are so very real, ” the Umbrella Academy star said.
