Cristiano Ronaldo is a diet fanatic and this was on full display Monday night as he removed two Coca-Cola bottles placed in front of him at a Euro 2020 press conference.
The health-obsessed 36-year-old moved the two bottles away from his chair before shouting in Portuguese: ‘Drink water!’
He then brandished an unbranded water bottle and placed it in front of himself for the remainder of the interview, muttering ‘Coca-Cola’ with noticeable disdain.
Ronaldo was speaking ahead of Portugal’s first game of the delayed Euro 2020 football tournament which the team will play against Hungary today at 5pm (GMT) in Hungary’s capital Budapest.

Neither official sponsors Coca-Cola nor UEFA – the European football governing body – have commented on Ronaldo’s surprise show of anger towards the popular fizzy drink.
