Ciara and Russell Wilson Gift Middle School Kids with Savings Account

Ciara and Russell Wilson are out there in Seattle doing their good deeds

The singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback spoke with middle school children from Denny International Middle School and also helped the students start their own savings accounts.

Seattle Times reports that the couple made a virtual appearance as they helped contribute some knowledge to the topic of financial literacy for the school children.

Ciara and Russell Wilson gave advice about investing and saving money. They also made a donation that was more than $35,000, which allowed each student to receive a savings account with at least $40 in startup funds.

The gesture was through Russell and Ciara’s Why Not You Foundation, in conjunction with the NFL Players Association, and the financial technology company Goalsetter for Financial Literacy Month.
