Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk is the new heavyweight champion of the world after beating Anthony Joshua in London in shocking upset Saturday night.
Usyk, 34, won on all three judges scorecard to leave AJ and many in the packed crowd at the Tottenham Stadium stunned as he becomes the new IBF, WBA, WBO champion of the world.
Joshua, who looked dejected and battered after the fight, can have no complaints as he was outboxed and outclassed by a more determined fighter.
He started slowly, and grew into the fight, but Usyk, a former unified cruiserweight champion, was already in the mood as he kept coming forward and mixing up his angles of attack.
A flurry of blows in the 12th left Joshua dazed, with a knockout looking likely until the bell chimed, effectively handing Joshua the second defeat of his career.
