Suspected armed bandits have attacked UBE Primary School, Rama in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state, abducting a yet-to-be ascertained number of pupils and teachers.
According to SaharaReporters, the gunmen arrived at the school around 9 am on Monday riding motorcycles.
The incident comes in the wake of last week’s abduction of 39 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, by armed bandits.
The bandits have since demanded a whopping N500m for the release of the students.
As of the time of filing this report, the Kaduna State government has yet to issue a statement confirming the incident.
