Bovi Ugboma has been on TV since he was five years and though he could only recite nursery rhymes then, now he entertains crowds that number thousands.
The ace comedian and actor shared about his first time on television back in Benin when he was just a 5-year-old boy.
He noted that his aunt who worked with the TV station had taken him to work with her and gotten him a slot to recite the famous poem, Bah Bah Blah Sheep. He got home, excited to see himself on TV but alas just when he was about to come up on the screen, NEPA struck. Though power was restored some 20 minutes later, it was too late as his slot had passed.
Inspired by this incident, Bovi offered a prayer for everyone. ” May no NEPA off our light when it’s our turn to shine for the remainder of this year”.
