Bolanle Austen Peters’ Collision Course to close Out AFRIFF

Ace producer and director, Bolanle Austen-Peters’ new flick, ‘Collision Course has been selected as the closing film for this year’s AFRIFF festival.

The multiple award winning filmmaker responsible for such hits as “93 DAYS” and “The Bling Lagosians” made the announcement o the selection at the press conference by   the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) organisers..

Festival closing films are typically the centre piece film of festivals and are important films that satisfy the festival critical screening and review criteria for it to deserve the festival closing night spotlight.

The film COLLISION COURSE has ready scored nominations for this year’s award season with Bamike Olawumi-Adenibuyan scoring a nomination for ‘Young Promising Actress’ for her role in the film at this year’s AMAA.

The film was directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters, and produced by Joseph Umoibom and James Amuta. It stars, Chioma  Akpotha, Daniel Etim Effiong, Kelechi Udegbe,  Ade Laoye, Kenneth Okolie, Bimbo Manuel, Gregory Ojefua, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan (BamBam), Kalu Ikeagwu, and Nobert Young and others.

Collision is a heart thumping story told in 24 hours that dives into the lives a law enforcement agent, a young man and some rogue element.

AFRIFF will run from November 7th to November 13th at the Landmark event centre with COLLISION COURSE closing the festival on November 12th.
