André 3000 has released a statement explaining why his collaborative single “Life of the Party” with Kanye West didn’t appear in the rapper’s album, Donda.
Recall that Drake leaked the single, thanks to his beef with Kanye, during a September 3 SiriusXM broadcast. Now, in his statement, André 3000 claims that his contribution didn’t make the album due to West’s current stance against profanity.
Andre 3000 added that he wrote his “Life of the Party” verse while shooting Noah Baumbach’s adaptation of Don DeLillo’s White Noise in Cleveland, Ohio: He further called the Drake and Kanye beef “unfortunate.”
