American Shooter Kyle Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty on All Charges in Homicide Trial

Complex is reporting that multiple days of deliberations, a jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts, including first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and first-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Per the outlet, the charges of failure to comply with an emergency order and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 (Rittenhouse was 17 when he shot and killed two men) was already previously dismissed.

In case you missed the drama: last August, during protests spurred by Kenosha police shooting of Jacob Blake, Rittenhouse fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber. he had gone to the protest grounds armed with an AR-15 style rifle. He also shot and injured Gaige Grosskreutz, who later filed a lawsuit against the city of Kenosha and local law enforcement.

Many people had expected that Rittenhouse would be convicted of at least one crime, no matter that he had repeatedly pushed a self-defense argument. But after a long trial and nearly four days of jury deliberations, he was declared not guilty of all the charges.
