Meek Mill has Been Arrested for Reckless Endangerment in New York City!
Meek Mill has been arrested and is currently chilling out in a New York City jail.
According to ABC Ny, the Dream Chasers rapper was arrested one day after he allegedly was caught driving recklessly on the streets of Inwood, New York City, in an area where community leaders frown at such practices.
The rapper was said to be part of a group driving motorcycles and ATVs recklessly in the area. Someone immediately called the police but when they arrived, the group already fled. However, investigators found the video of the 30-year-old rapper and his team popping the wheels around the area, plus Meek Mill was riding his dirt bike without a helmet.
He was arrested last night at about 10:15pm, shortly after his appearance on Jimmy Fallon, and some fans have the video of police officers taking him into custody. The rapper has been charged with reckless endangerment, and since it was too late to arraign him in a court, he was made to sleep over.
He will be charged to court this morning(American time).
ABC NY adds that the police has been cracking down on ATV drivers, seizing more than 1,600 vehicles, many of which were crushed in a public event.
It reportedly is illegal to drive ATVs in New York City.
