Nigerian Alternative Chart: Cobhams’ ‘Empty’ Remains Strong at No.1

By  |

For the third week in a row, Cobhams Asuquo’s Empty, off his new ‘For You’ album, rules the Nigerian alternative chart at no.1.

Mano continues to hold firmly the no.2 spot with S.O.S and so does Sekem singer, MC Galaxy with Your Love at no.3 while Choc City’s Koker, who debuted last week, still rocks on no. 4 with Bokiniyen.

It appears there are no major changes on the chart this week as J.Jamani’s Forget the night, which shot to the no.5 spot last week, still maintains its spot.

However, Ikon X who debuted last week ensures to fight his way from the bottom to no.6 with Mama Africa as Yano climbs up one spot from no.8 to no.7 with Free Yourself. He knocks Morientez’s Sofunmi to no.8.

1Da’s Concentrate must have been bitten by a bug as he unfortunately keeps dropping spots on the chart. This week, he plunges to the no.9 spot from no.6. Deshinor’s New Wave remains at the bottom of the chart.
