Google launches Handwritten Input app + emojis for Android users

By  |

Last week Friday, Google Research launched its latest project tagged Google Handwriting Input  which works by using good old-fashioned handwriting to input text into any Android app. Besides Google’s voice and favorite keyboards, Android users using Android 4.0.3 and any operating system higher than this can now input text on their phones by simply writing it. Cool huh?

Another exciting feature of the Google Handwriting Input is the handwritten emojis. With this feature, users can render any type of emoji by  drawing it on the app and it  translates to the actual emoji.

The new input tool recognizes 82 languages and 20 distinct scripts.
